| On Thurs. night 11/11/10, during the Lake Mohegan Fire District's monthly Board of Fire Commissioners meeting, the fire district accepted delivery of the new Engine 252. The new apparatus will be an addition to the current fleet and will be responding out of Headquarters, once placed in service. The rig will be equipped with additional equipment, plus all the members will be trained in this new apparatus, over the next few weeks. The Apparatus Committee was formed in November, 2008 with those members reviewing numerous ideas and concepts for such a state-of-the-art apparatus. The apparatus then went out to bid in November, 2009, with KME being awarded the bid. Mohegan then signed contract with KME in January, 2010. The final inspection was held on Fri. 11/5/10 at the KME Fire Apparatus Headquarters in Nesquehoning, Pa. All photos are courtesy of Apparatus Committee member Lt. Chris Gravius.
