You certainly live up to the Scottish Fire Sevice motto "Aye Ready" sometimes politicians change it to "Semper Paratus" but it means the same thing. I prefer the Scots version Aye Ready.
Since an injury in 1975 I have been a Fire Buff visited hundreds of sites and yours is the best I have seen so far. Keep up the good work protecting your community.

My brother Bill and sister-in-law Michelle's house tragically caught fire on Saturday, Dec.12, and because of the pictures on your website, I have been able to see the damage the fire did. I live in Georgia with my family and I am grateful for the pictures because I am unsure when we can come up to help! My family has raved about the professionals on the scene, and the help and advice offered to them.
Thanks.

Guess who just found me? Toni Arditi, my partner from rescue a billion years ago.
We laughed and cried over some of our escapades and rescues. Who can forget Karen doing CPR and the eyeball popping out and rolling all over the amb.floor?
My God, I can still hear the upstairs floors creaking during meetings, those loooong meetings. I would beg for a call. LOL. I can still hear the tones and my phone in the middle of the night. I slept with my clothing on, but not my boots.
I will always remember my first ever rescue call with Bobby Jr, we jumped off a small cliff for a heart call, and I broke my ankle. I told Bobby, "hey, heart takes precedence over an ankle, come back for me later". LOL, and they did, thank goodness. Toni and I were always pushed into burning cars to rescue the drivers while being sprayed down with the fans and freezing cold water. Brrrrr!!!!!!! I was the smallest, so you guys shoved me into cars whereever there was an opening. I loved my LMFD. I loved all the members and the parades and was so proud to be a good member of it. I rode 31,32 and 33 btw. LOL. I miss you all so much.

Very nice website.Quick question, does your VAC roster an ambulance like we do in East Fishkill?I know that your dept. handles several thousand EMS calls annually, just like us and was wondering how your EMS service handles the situation. Thanks!

I've been living in Cortlandt Manor for about 5 years and have had 2 first hand opportunities to deal with your fire department (house struck by lighting and I witnessed a car accident). I can't believe the speed at which you get to the scene and the professionalism dealing with the situations and people. I am so impressed with your association. I want to thank you for all that you do and sacrafice in your line of work for our community!
