At approximately 1530 hours Saturday July 29, Mohegan FD was dispatched to a P.I.A.A "Rollover" with injuries. The call came in as Southbound on the Taconic State Parkway, South of The Putnam Valley Line. Upon arrival Mohegan FD found one vehicle rolled on its side, and one patient needing transport to Hudson Valley Hospital. Due to the dangers associated with highway incidents, all responding units were requested to avoid parking on the opposite side of the highway and instead continue North to the Bryant Pond Rd. Exit and head down the Southbound TSP. Traffic was controlled by our Fire Police and after treating the patient the car was removed from the scene. The cause for the crash is still under investigation.
