On Sat. Sept. 17, 2004 at 1pm, members ended the parade season by marching in the 99th Annual Fireman's Parade of the Westchester County Volunteer Fireman's Association. This year, the parade was held in the City Of Peekskill to commemorate Peekskill FD's Washington Engine Company's (Engine 133) 165th Anniversary. Firefighters and Ambulance Corps members marched proudly under a brillant blue sky through the streets of Peekskill to the beat of the Tappan Zee Bridgemen musical unit. After the parade ended in Blue Mtn. Reservation, trophies were presented to participating companies. Here, Mohegan was presented with the 4th Best Dress Uniform trophy. The men and women of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Assoc. would like to congratulate our unofficial sister company, Engine 133, on their anniversary. During the entire event, 69B3 was on standby to assist the Peekskill Vol. Ambulance Corps with the overwhelming crowds and the 2,000 marchers from 45 fire departments, ambulance corps, and bands. Throughout the spring and summer season, Mohegan marched in area parades in Montrose, Croton, Yorktown, Katonah, Mahopac and Peekskill.
