On Thursday March 13 at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners, Ambulance Corps Captain Joe Stewart presented a plaque of Appreciation from the MVFA Ambulance Corps to the career firefighters of the Lake Mohegan Fire District. The plaque was accepted by Captain Rick Strauss and FF Tom Eade along with FF Mike Donohue. As first responders within the Lake Mohegan Fire District our career personnel are often first on the scene rendering prompt medical assistance until the arrival of the ambulance. The plaque presented here recognizes and thanks them for their role in the overall emergency medical response system.
