On Wed. 11/28 at 10:21am, Mohegan Ladder 35 was requested to respond to a reported dryer fire at 11 Bleakly Drive in the Woods III Condo Complex in the City of Peekskill. This was due to Peekskill's Tower Ladder 45 being out of servce. Peekskill units were met on scene with a working structure fire that extended from the dryer and spread through the second floor of the condo unit. Peekskill firefighters had stretched two 1 3/4 inch handlines and made quick work of the fire. Mohegan firefighters assisted Peekskill units with checking for fire extension into the walls by using our thermal imaging camara and by clearing smoke from the unit using exaust fans.
