On Wednesday 1/24/24 at 2:49pm, , Mohegan FD was requested to the Somers Fire District for the 10-75, working house fire assignment on Woods St in Somers. Mohegan Units Car 2263, 2267, 226-10, Ladder 10, and Utility 80 responded and assisted on scene of the working fire.nthis fire was caused by a lithium ion battery. Mohegan FD cleared the scene within an hour. Also assisting Somers FD on scene were Yorktown FD, Bedford Hills FD, Millwood FD, Mahopac FD, and Mahopac Falls FD.
