On Tuesday evening 8/1/23, Mohegan FD was invited by the Yorktown Police Dept to attend their National Night Out event from 6pm-9pm. The event was held at the Jack Devito Memorial Field on Veterans Rd in Yorktown. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. On this night, Mohegan FD attended with over 20 members to show our support to the Yorktown PD, but also recruit for new members and interact with our community and all our community organizations on site. We thank the Yorktown FD for organizing a great event! Pictures are courtesy of Mohegan FD members attending, unless noted.
