On Friday morning 1/13/23, Mohegan FD assisted with a flag detail at the Yorktown Funeral Home on East Main St in Shrub Oak. Mohegan FD Ladder 10 and Ladder 35 set up and drapped our large American flag and assisted the FDNY with setting up for the arrival of the procession of FDNY James Corrigan. A brief memorial service was also performed at the funeral home. FDNY Lieutenant Corrigan passed away suddenly and our thoughts and prayers go out to the FDNY during this difficult time! Numerous FD’s also assisted with flag details along with Taconic State Pkwy and Sprain Brook Pkwy and local police agencies motorcycle units and Yorktown PD also assisted with the escort.
