On Friday 3/12/21 at 9:20am, Mohegan FD was dispatched to a brush fire on East Main St in Shrub Oak. Upon arrival, an approximately 20 foot by 50 foot brush fire was found. Firefighters stretched one 1 3/4” hoseline from Engine 252 and quickly knocked down this fire. We remind everyone to be extremely careful with fire pits. Units on scene were Car 2262, 226-38, 2265, 2269, Engine 252, Engine 255, Rescue 32, and Utility 80. All units cleared the scene by 10am.
