The Mohegan FD is proud to announce that Mohegan Firefighter Paul Cirillo is one of only 25 recipients of the Firemen's Association of the State of New York 2020 Gerard J. Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship. The Firemen’s Association of the State of New York will award a $1,500 scholarship Firefighter Cirillo and the other 24 recipients that are high school seniors entering college in September, 2020. The Gerard J. Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship program is made possible each June through the generous donations of individuals, fire departments and auxiliaries. The awards recognize exemplary members of the youth fire service who also contribute to their communities. We thank Firefighter Cirillo for all that he has done for our department and we congratulate all the award winners statewide!
