Tonight Thursday 10/24/19, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team drilled at our Hollowbrook Station (LMFD Station #4) reviewing our FAS-Team equipment that is located on Engine 256. Our members also reviewed our on scene operations. Our FAST members reviewed and practiced hands-on training with all of our FAS-Team equipment. This equipment is our nirmal hand tools plus our RIT Pack, FAST Board, RIT Large Area Search Ropes, plus our Ropes and Pulleys. This past month, our FAS-Team has responded to numerous structure fires in our neighboring departments. Our next FAS-Team drill will be incorporated into Live Burn training at the Putnam County Fire Training Center with Mahopac Falls Fire Department and Putnam Valley Fire Department in November.
