Mohegan FD was hand today Saturday 10/12/19 at the Lowe's Home Improvement store located at 3200 Crompond Rd (Rt 202) in Yorktown. This day was designated as their Safety Day at all their stores natiowide. Our members were on hand displaying Engine 254, our Smoke Trailer, Freddie the Fire Truck, and Sparky the Fire Dog. Mohegan EMS and Yorktown Police Department also participated with displays and tables at this safety day. We were on hand from 10am to 2pm. Children even had an opportunity to go through our smoke trailer and learn about fire safety. Children also had fun building wooden fire trucks that Lowe's supplied.
