Tonight, Thursday 9/19/19, instead of our normal monthly fire company meeting, the Mohegan FD held our annual Old Timers Night. This night is dedicated to all our Life-Members of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association, which is currently a total of 68 members! These members have achieved a minimum of 25 years of service, with Member William Geis Jr achieving 71 years of service! This event included a full in-house home cooked filet mignon dinner which was cooked by our own members. The dinner started with shrimp cocktail, salad, and bread/cheese/crackers appetizers. The night then concluded with dessert, which included coffee and cake. We would like to thank all our Life Members for their dedication to not only our department, but our entire community over the past 97 years!
