Ladder 35 Goes Mutual Aid

At 6:13am on Monday morning 2/13/17, Mohegan FD was requested mutual aid to Putnam Valley Fire Dept (Putnam County) for a working structure fire on Roberts Dr. Mohegan FD's FAS-Team and one ladder were requested to the scene. Ladder 35 responded and due to our manpower going to work with Ladder 35, Engine 256 (FAS-Team Engine) was stood down and Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD was requested as the next FAS-Team. Mohegan FD Car 2264, DC40, Ladder 35 and Utility 80 arrived and set up in the driveway for chimney and roof operations. The fire was located inside the walls next the chimney on the first and second floors. Once the fire was extinguished, Mohegan FD returned to service at approximately 7:50am. Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department Chief 19-1-2, 19-1-3, Engine 19-2-1, Kent Fire Department ambulance, and Yorktown FD Rescue 16/FAS-Team all assisted on scene.
