The first call at 8:46pm was a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Rt 202 near the Bear Mtn Pkwy in Yorktown. Mohegan FD Car 2264, DC29, Engine 252, and Engine 258 operated with along with Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps 69B3, and Yorktown Police Department. The second call was dispatched at 8:53pm for a residential alarm located on Casey Ct in Mohegan Lake. Car 2264, Engine 253, Engine 257, and Ladder 35 handled this call which proved to be a malfunction. Lastly, the 3rd call was dispatched at 8:56pm for tree and wires down on Anton Pl in Lake Peekskill. Car 2264 and Engine 252 responded and arrived to find a large tree down blocking the road, with numerous primary and secondary wires, and the tree resting on top of a house. Mohegan FD units stood by and awaited the arrival on Con Edison Electric to deem the electric was off. Once the clear was given by Con Edison, Mohegan Fire units checked for structural damage and to ensure the residents had egress from the structure, due to the only residence door being blocked by the tree. Members stood by with lighting and a chainsaw in case branches had to be removed for access and egress of the homeowner. No structural damage was found and all residents safely exited without FD assistance. All Mohegan Fire units cleared all calls by 10:30pm. Other members of Mohegan were still at the Verplanck FD parade.
