At 4:22pm on Sat 6/25/16, Mohegan Fire and EMS were dispatched to Rt 202 (Crompond Rd) and Garden Ln in Yorktown for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival of units, a 3 car accident was found with 2 injuries. Ironically, this accident was in the same vicinity of last night's rollover accident. At this accident, 2 patients were transported to a local hospital by Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps 69B3, while Mohegan Fire units stood by and mitigated fluids in he roadway. Firefighters also assisted the Yorktown Police Department with traffic control. Units operating at this call were 2261, 2264, Engine 252, Engine 258, and 69B3. All units cleared by 5:10pm. During this call, Car 2261, 2265, Engine 255, Engine 258, and Ladder 35 responded to an inside smoke investigation at a residence on Lincoln Ave in the Crompond section of Cortlandt.
