On Mon. 7/20/15 at 6:45pm, Mohegan FD's FAS-Team was requested mutual aid to Fremont St in the City of Peekskill for a structure fire with reported occupants trapped. Peekskill FD arrived on scene to find a heavily involved multiple occupancy dwelling. Fire was spreading throughout the 2nd, and 3rd floors, plus the cockloft. Mohegan FD Car 2264, 2265, 2266, and Engine 255 responded with a full FAST crew. Mohegan FD's FAS-Team, which was 7 members, arrived and broke into two teams, to cover both the front and the rear side of the building. Mohegan's FAST stood by until the fire was knocked down. At this point, one of the FAST crews assisted in overhaul operations, while the second crew remained FAST. Mohegan EMS 69B2 also responded and stood by on scene. Due to numerous firefighters suffering from heat exhaustion and heat related illnesses, 69B2 transported 3 firefighters to Hudson Valley Hospital for treatment. Once clearing the hospital, 69B2 returned to the scene to standby at the Rehab section set up by Peekskill EMS. Also assisting Peekskill FD on scene were Montrose FD, Continental Village FD, Montrose VA FD, Buchanan FD, Verplanck FD, Westchester County Dept. of Emergency Services Battalion 10 and Cause and Origin Team. Assisting with EMS also included Cortlandt EMS, and numerous Cortlandt/Peekskill Paramedics. Croton FD and Yorktown EMS stood by and covered the City of Peekskill. All Mohegan units returned to service by 11:45pm. During this fire, at 7:10pm, Car 2263, Car 2267, Engine 252 and Engine 254 responded to a fully involved vehicle fire in the driveway of a residence on Maple Avenue in Cortlandt. Those units clear that scene by approximately 8:10pm
