On Monday 5/11/15 at 3:37pm, Mohegan FD was requested to relocate 1 ladder to Montrose FD, while numerous departments operated at a structure fire in Verplanck. Montrose FD's Tower Ladder responded mutual aid to Verplanck FD for this working structure fire. Mohegan FD Car 2264, DC40, and Ladder 10 with a total crew of 8 members relocated to Montrose FD and stoodby with other Montrose FD Firefighters during this incident. Ladder 10 covered as a ladder company for the Tri-Village area which consists of Montrose FD, Verplanck FD, and Buchanan FD. Verplanck, Montrose, Buchanan, Montrose VA, and Croton FD's all operated at the structure fire, while nCroton FD Tanker 10 covered Verplanck FD as an engine company, Continental Village FD Engine 232 covered Buchanan FD, and Mohegan FD Ladder 10 covered at Montrose FD. Due to the amount of manpower Mohegan FD had at the standby, the Mohegan crew was split and our 2nd crew would roll with Montrose FD on their 1st/2nd due Engines or Rescue, if needed. Mohegan FD was released from standby by 5:45pm without any calls in the tri-village.
