Changing of the Guard

On Thursday night 4/16/26, the MVFA held its monthly Fire Company meeting. On this night, the meeting began with President Andrew Cerrato turning the gavel over to newly elected President Don DeChent. Past President Cerrato joined the Mohegan FD in 1991 and held the position of Fire Company President for the past 9 years. President DeChent joined the Mohegan FD in 1993 and held all fire officer ranks to the top including being Chief of Department from 2019-2021. We thank Past President Cerrato for all his dedicated years of service to the Fire Company. We would also like to announce all of our other newly sworn Fire Company Officers taking their positions!
