At 2:33pm on Friday March 22, 2024, Mohegan FD Ladder 10 was requested to the City of Peekskill for a working fire. Mohegan FD Car 2263, 2267, 2268, 2269, 226-10, and Ladder 10 responded and upon arrival Ladder 10 was requested to set up for roof operations of the 7 story apartment building. The crew from Ladder 10 split up into 2 crews with the first assigned to the roof for ventilation and the second crew assigned truck company operations on the fire floor (5th Floor) and 6th Floor. Mohegan FD operated on scene until being released by Peekskill FD command. Also assisting Peekskill FD on scene were Buchanan FD, Yorktown FD, Montrose VA FD, Peekskill EMS, and Westchester County Dept of Emergency Services.
