Tonight, Thursday 9/21/23, instead of our normal monthly fire company meeting, the Mohegan FD held our annual Old Timers Night. This night is dedicated to all our Life-Members of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association. These members have achieved a minimum of 25 years of service, and this is a way for the department to thank them for their service! This event included a full home cooked filet mignon and chicken scarpariello dinner which was cooked by Powell Catering. The dinner started with shrimp cocktail, salad, and bread/cheese/crackers/appetizers. The night then concluded with dessert, which included coffee and cake. Each Life Member also received an embroidered fleece jacket as a thank you for their service. We would like to thank all our Life Members for their dedication to not only our department, but our entire community over the past 101 years.
