The Lake Mohegan Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners have set up the following public meetings in regards to the New York State bill regarding Fire Chiefs Qualifications for Fire Depts that have 6 or more career firefighters. This bill will be discussed along with the potential hiring of a career fire chief.

1) The Fire District will be holding a public Work Session tonight Wednesday 1/18/23 starting at 7pm at the Jefferson Valley Fire Station located at 500 Lee Blvd, Yorktown NY 10598. This meeting is open to the public.

2) The Fire District will be holding a public Meeting on Monday 1/23/23 starting at 7pm at the Jefferson Valley Fire Station located at 500 Lee Blvd Yorktown NY 10598. This meeting is open to the public.
