Injured Hiker in Sylvan Glen Preserve

Late Sunday evening 10/30/22, Mohegan FD, Mohegan EMS, Yorktown/Empress Paramedics, and Yorktown PD were dispatched to the Sylvan Glen Preserve off Stony St for an injured hiker. Units arrived and began to search the trails to locate the injured hiker. Yorktown FD was also requested to the scene with their UTV gator to assist in the removal of the patient from the trail system. Firefighters, Loloce, and EMS personnel located the injured person and assisted in treating and transporting an injured hiker from the trail system. The patient was removed from the trail system in under an hour. Units operating on scene were:
