On Saturday night 6/12/21 shortly before midnight, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team was requested to a confirmed structure fire on Westchester Ave in the City of Peekskill. Upon arrival, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team stoodby as the FAST company and also set up ground ladders. Due to the amount of Fire suppression and overhaul needed, Croton FD’s FAS-Team was resulted and upon their arrival, Mohegan FD went to work to assist in fire suppression. Mohegan FD worked on scene to assist in extinguishing the fire and performing overhaul. Mohegan FD returned to service by 3:30am. Also assisting Peekskill FD on scene were Buchanan FD, Montrose VA FD, Croton FD, Peekskill EMS, Peekskill PD, and Westchester County Sept of Emergency Services resources.
