This afternoon Wednesday 8/12/20 at 3:17pm, Mohegan FD (volunteer and career), Mohegan EMS, and Yorktown Paramedics were dispatched to the Bear Mountain Pkwy Extension and Stony St in Yorktown for a reported serious motor vehicle accident with numerous injuries. Mohegan FD units arrived on scene and requested additional EMS resources to the scene. Mohegan FD assisted with patient care and assisted with traffic control. Mohegan FD units on scene were Car 226-40, 2264, 2266, 2269, 22610, Engine 254, Engine 257, Rescue 32, and Utility 80. We thank our EMS partners from Empress Emergency Medical Services (34 Medics/Yorktown Paramedics), Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps (7512, 7507, 75B2), Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps (86B2, 86B3), Mobile Life Support Services (47B1), and Cortlandt Regional Paramedics/Peekskill Professional Firefighters Local 2343 (39Medic1) for their mutual aid assistance to transport the injured to regional hospitals. The Yorktown Police Department and New York State Police also assisted on scene. All Mohegan FD units cleared the scene by 4:30pm
