At approximately 2:30am this morning Wed 7/8/20, Mohegan FD was requested to relocate 1 ladder and Peekskill FD was requested to relocate 1 engine to cover Montrose FD. Mohegan FD Car 2263, 226-40, 2265, and Ladder 10 relocated along with Peekskill FD Car 2341, 2342 and Engine 132 to cover the Montrose FD on Rt 9A (Albany Post Rd) while Montrose FD operated at a 2nd Alarm structure fire. Veterans Affairs Firefighters Montrose, Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, Verplanck Fire Department, Buchanan Engine Co No 1, Cortlandt EMS, New York State Police, and resources from Westchester County Dept of Emergency Services also assisted Montrose FD on the scene. Mohegan FD was released from standby and returned to service in our district at approximately 5:15am.
