This afternoon Monday 6/15/20 at approximately 4:23pm, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team was requested to respond to a confirmed structure fire on Northway in the Lake Peekskill section of Putnam Valley (Putnam County). Putnam Valley FD was on scene and made an aggressive interior attack and the fire was knocked down quickly. Mohegan FD Car 226-40, 2266, and Engine 256 responded and stoodby on scene. Mohegan FD cleared the scene by 5:30pm. Mahopac Falls FD and Continental Village FD were both requested to the scene with a tanker from each department, but cancelled enroute due to the being under control. Somers FD relocated one engine to standby at Putnam Valley FD Station 1 during the fire. Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services also assisted on scene.
