For the past year, the Lake Mohegan Fire District has been working to set up an online training program which would assist our members with taking portions of our annual OSHA training throughout the year and even some NYS EMT CME’s online from computers at home instead of sitting in classroom type lectures at the firehouse. This online training allows for the normal Wednesday night district training to allow for more hands on training instead of some classroom OSHA refresher training. With the current Covid-19 pandemic, this training program took effect and was implemented last week with the establishment of our online training through TargetSolutions. This now allows for our members to continually learn especially since our district has temporality stopped hands on training due to social distancing.
