On Tuesday night 5/26/20 at approximately 8:53pm, Mohegan FD, Mohegan EMS, Cortlandt Regional Paramedics, and New York State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a rollover on Gallows Hill Rd near Adair Rd in Cortlandt. Upon arrival of units, a 1 vehicle accident was found with the vehicle rolled over onto its passenger side. Both occupants were transported by Mohegan EMS 69B2 to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. One 1 3/4" hoseline was stretched from Engine 256, due to potentially leaking gasoline. Firefighters assisted with the road closure. The vehicle did knock over a fire hydrant and the Cortlandt Water Dept was notified to make the proper repairs. Units on scene were Car 2261, 2263, 2266, 2269, Engine 252, Engine 256, Rescue 32, and Utility 80. All units cleared the scene within one hour. Photos are courtesy of FF Lourenco.
