We would like to thank the Lowe's Home Improvement store located at 3200 Crompond Rd (Rt 202/35) in our district for the generous donation of 1,500 KN-95 masks to the Lake Mohegan Fire District. Through the support of Town of Yorktown Supervisor Matt Slater, who set up this donation, we now have KN-95 masks to protect our firefighters at various incidents. Lowe’s Home Improvememt store donated the various emergency service agencies of Yorktown a total of 10,000 KN-95 masks with an approximate value of $20,000. Other agencies on hand today were Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD, Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Yorktown Police Department, various Town of Yorktown staff, New York State Assemblyman Kevin Byrne, and Lowe’s store staff.
