Today Saturday 4/25/20, Mohegan FD (volunteer and career- Lake Mohegan Professional Firefighters Local 2956) assisted the NYPD with the funeral services for Detective Jeffrey Scalf. Due to the Covid-19/Corona Virus pandemic, a full funeral was scaled back. Funeral services today were held at the Yorktown Funeral Home on East Main St in Shrub Oak. During the service, we assisted by having a large American flag draped from Ladder 10 and Ladder 35 with Firefighters lined up during the funeral procession. Other apparatus at the funeral home were Car 2261, 2262, 2263, Engine 252, Engine 254, Engine 257, Utility 11, and Utility 50. Photos are courtesy of Kempters Fire Wire.

We would like to thank the following departments for their assistance with lining overpasses on the Taconic State Parkway and Sprain Brook Parkway for the funeral procession enroute to a cemetary in Hartsdale:
