Tonight Tues 8/27/19, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team trained at our Station #4 (Hollowbrook Station) on our new FAST Rescue Solutions FAST Boards, which we purchased through NorthEast Squad Concepts. Our members previously trained with Northeast Squad Concepts on the board, and tonight we trained as a team on this new equipment. We practiced strapping a firefighter onto the board and then practiced dragging a firefighter. We also drilled on bringing a member up and down a staircase. We feel that this equipment will be very valuable resource in Firefighter Rescue and Water/Ice Rescue.
