At 1:38pm this afternoon Tues 2/12/19, Mohegan FD, New York State Police, Cortlandt Regional Paramedics, and Mobile Life Support Services under mutual aid for Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to Furnace Woods Rd in the area of Veronica Ct in Cortlandt for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival of units, a 1 vehicle rollover accident was found with 1 minor injury. Mobile Life 47A2 transported the driver to NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Mohegan FD stood by and assisted with the road closure until the vehicle was uprighted and removed from the scene by a local tow company. All units cleared the scene by 2:30pm. Units on scene were Car 2262, 2263, 2265, 2267, Engine 258, and Utility 80, while Engine 252 was cancelled enroute. During this incident, Mohegan FD Car 2269, Engine 252, Engine 255, Ladder 35, and Rescue 32 handled a commercial fire alarm activation on Lexington Ave in Mohegan Lake which was set off due to cooking.
