On Sunday 7/1/18, just before 5pm, Mohegan FD was requested to relocate 1 ladder (Ladder 10) to cover Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD Station 1, while Yorktown FD and Bedford Hills FD operated at a structure fire on Baldwin Rd in Yorktown. While Ladder 10 was enroute to the standby, a 2nd Alarm was transmitted by YHFD bringing Mohegan FD units to the scene. In the extremely hot weather, Car 2261, 2265, 2267, 22610, and Ladder 10 responded and assisted on scene. Other FD’s assisting on scene included Croton-on-Hudson FD, Ossining FD, Millwood FD, Somers FD, and Buchanan FD. Other resources assisting included Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Yorktown/Empress Emergency Medical Services Paramedics, Yorktown Police Department, and the Westchester County Dept of Emergency Services. All Mohegan FD units cleared at approximately 9:45pm.
