On Monday 4/9/18 at approximately 5pm, Mohegan FD's FAS-Team was requested by the City of Peekskill FD to respond to a confirmed working residential structure fire on Washington St in Peekskill. Mohegan FD Car 2263, 2267, Engine 257/FAS-Team with a total crew of 6 FAS-Team members responded and upon arrival stood by in front of the structure. The fire was quickly knocked down and the fire was primarily held to the exterior of the residence, which was under renovation. Mohegan FD cleared the scene by 5:45pm once no fire extension was found to the interior. Montrose VA FD, Buchanan FD, and Peekskill VAC also assisted on scene, while Montrose FD and Continental Village FD relocated to cover Peekskill FD.
