At approximately 2:35am this morning Tues 12/26/17, Mohegan FD’s FAS-Team was requested to respond to a structure fire on Hickory Rd in the Lake Lincolndale section of Somers. Somers FD was on scene and was assisted by Mahopac FD , Croton Falls FD, Katonah FD, Yorktown Heights FD, Golden's Bridge FD, and Millwood FD. Mohegan FD Car 2261, 2263, and Engine 257 took in the assignment and stoodby on scene until released by Somers FD. Mohegan FD returned to service in our district at approximately 5:00am. During this fire, numerous other area depts were also assisting Bedford Hills Fire Department with a structure fire in their district that they came across while responding to the Somers fire.
