On Sunday evening 11/19/17, Westchester County Police Department, Mohegan FD, and Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association VAC escorted home the 2017 Walter Panas High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team. Earlier in the day, the girls varsity volleyball team won the NYS Class A Championship in upstate Glens Falls. Westchester County Police began the escort on Rt. 9 at the Westchester/Putnam County line, while Mohegan FD and Mohegan VAC joined in at the Annsville Circle. Units continued the escort all the way to Walter Panas High School on Croton Avenue, where a crowd of students, family, and friends were gathered and patiently waiting. We congratulate the Lady Panthers on their second time victory!
