At 9:14am on Monday 9/4/17, Mohegan FD, Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Cortlandt Regional Paramedics, and New York State Police responded for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Maple Ave and Lafayette Ave in Cortlandt. Upon arrival, a 1 car accident was found, with the vehicle just missing a fire hydrant and down an embankment. The driver refused medical attention and a RMA was secured by 35Medic1, while Mohegan VAC was canceled enroute. Mohegan Fire units operating were 2261, 2263, Engine 252, Engine 258, and Rescue 32. All Mohegan Fire/EMS units cleared the scene by 9:35am, while NY State Police remained on scene. Mohegan Fire units just cleared a commercial fire alarm activation at the Yeshiva School nearby on Furnace Woods Rd when this call was dispatched.
