At 8:24pm on Mon 5/29/17 (Memorial Day), Mohegan FD's FAS-Team was requested mutual aid to Putnam Valley Fire Dept (Putnam County) for a structure fire on Peekskill Hollow Rd. Within a short period of time, as our FAS-Team was assembling, PVFD also requested Ladder 35 to the scene. Once on scene, Mohegan FD assisted as the FAST unit until the fire was fully extinguished. PVFD operated on scene with heavy fire conditions in the attic, with the fire burning through the roof in the rear of the house. Heavy smoke was also found on the 2nd floor. Mahopac Falls Fire Dept and Kent Fire Dept also assisted on scene with manpower and their dept's tankers, while Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corp also stood by on the scene for rehab. Mohegan FD units on scene were 2261, 2263, 2264, 2265, 2269, 22610, Engine 257, Ladder 35, and Utility 80. Mohegan FD units cleared the scene by 10:45pm. Ironically, this was our 2nd FAS-Team dispatch to Putnam County within an hour time frame. At 7:26pm, we were requested by Mahopac Falls FD for a structure fire at the Putnam County Golf Course on Hill St. Mohegan FD units, along with units from Mahopac FD and Somers FD were cancelled enroute within a few minutes of dispatch, since Mahopac Falls Firefighters quickly extinguished that fire.

Units: 2261, 2263, 2264, 2265, 2269, 22610, Engine 257, Ladder 35, and Utility 80
