On Friday evening 5/12/17 at 7pm, the newly elected Fire Chiefs and Officers of the Mohegan FD gathered at LMFD Station# 2 (Jefferson Valley Station) for a swearing in ceremony. Each officer was sworn in to their position by LMFD Board of fire Commissioners Chairman Jimmy Seymour. Once taking oath, each officer had their badge pinned on their uniform from a family member or distinguished person. An audience of family members, friends, MVFA Company Officers, VAC Officers, and fellow firefighters/ambulance corps members observed this ceremony. The ceremony concluded with dessert being served. Captain Ken Dunnings (not pictured) could not attend due to work obligations. Congratulations to our newly sworn Fire Chiefs and Officers.
