At approximately 7:30am on Thurs 3/23/17, Mohegan FD's FAS-Team was requested mutual aid to Putnam Valley (Putnam County) for a heavily involved structure fire on Woods End Rd, in the northern part of Putnam Valley. Upon arrival, Mohegan FD FAS-Team members went to work to assist in overhaul operations and further extinguishment, due to the structure collapsing with the main fire knocked down. Putnam Valley Fire Dept was also assisted on scene by the Mahopac Falls Fire Department, Kent Fire Department, and Garrison Fire Department. Putnam Valley VAC also assisted on scene, along with EMStar. Once the fire was extinguished, Mohegan Fire units returned to our district at approximately 11:30am. Mohegan Fire units on scene were Car 2264, 2265, Utility 80, and Engine 256/FAS-Team.
