At 5:55pm on Tues 6/21/16, Mohegan FD and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident rollover with injuries on East Main St at New Rd in Shrub Oak. Upon arrival of units, 1 vehicle vs tree was found, with the vehicle resting on its side and the driver self-extricated. No injuries were found and Mohegan Fire units stood by on scene and assisted Yorktown Police Department until the vehicle was up righted. All units cleared by 6:30pm. Mohegan FD Car 2263, 2264, Engine 252, Engine 253, and 69B3 handled this rollover call. At 5:57pm, just 2 minutes after the first call was dispatched, Mohegan FD and EMS were dispatched to a second motor vehicle accident with injuries on the property of Contractors Registry located at 800 East Main St in Jefferson Valley. Upon arrival, 2 cars were found up over the curb, across the grass and into the trees. 1 patient was transported by Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps to a local hospital. Mohegan FD Car 2263, 2264, Engine 257, Engine 258, and 69B3 handled this second motor vehicle accident. Fire units cleared Contractors Registry by 7pm.
