On Sunday 11/23/14 at 4:51pm, Mohegan FD was requested to relocate 1 engine and Millwood FD was requested to relocate 1 ladder to cover Yorktown FD. Yorktown FD, along with other depts., were operating at a large brush fire in the Yorktown Fire District. Car 2265, 2267, and Engine 257 relocated and stood by along with Millwood FD Car 2251 and Ladder 52. During the standby, Yorktown FD was dispatched to a commercial fire alarm on Crompond Rd. Both standby companies responded to this alarm and found the fire alarm set off due to an apparent malfunction. Once units cleared this commercial alarm, both Mohegan and Millwood FD's were released from standby and returned to our respective quarters. During this standby, Mohegan FD handled an oven fire, assisted Yorktown PD with a missing person search, and inside odor of gas in our own district. All Mohegan FD units from all these calls and the standby were back in service by 6:30pm.

Mutual Aid: Car 2265, 2267, Engine 257, Millwood FD Car 2251, Ladder 52
